June 16, 2020, The Liberacy:- Indian Army Officer and 2 Soldiers killed in a violent face-off against Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley on Monday night. In an official statement released by the Indian Army on Tuesday, as reported by ANI, there was a violent face-off between the two sides during the de-escalation of tension across LAC.

Indian Army has released a statement and informed that during de-escalation there was a violent face-off between Indian troops and the Chinese troops, in which an officer and 2 soldiers lost there life and currently there are meetings held at the venue to control the situation.

The two sides were currently in talks to de-escalate the tensions that started in April. This is the first time that there has been such a casualty on the Chinese border since the 1962 war.
The Indian Army in their statement has also said that there were casualties on both sides. But, there is no official statement about the number of Chinese casualties or deaths.

Indian and Chinese sides were engaged in Major General rank level talks. This incident of killing of Soldiers of the Indian side will escalate the situation on the border and also across the country.
Since the uprising of tensions on border between India and China, there has been a row of trends to boycott Chinese goods and services.

The face-off took place on Monday night and till now there has been no official statement by Defense Ministry or Foreign Ministry.
The Indian government is yet to release an official statement.
