Islamabad:- Pakistan’s New Fighter Jets purchased from China, J-10C (JS-10), are to be seen as a counter to Indian “Rafale”.
Pakistan has bought 25 J-10C (Chengdu) fighter jets from China.
Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said, that the full squadron of 25 J-10C jets is an answer to India’s Rafale and that they are planning to perform a full fly-past of the jets.
The Chinese closeness of Pakistan and threat from Rafale were seen as the key factors for the purchase of J-10C fighter jets.
J-10C were the same jets that were included in the Pakistan-China joint exercise last year, which aimed so that Pakistani experts should have a close look at the jets before making the purchase, and the Chinese suggestion to make the purchase was in response to India’s purchase of Rafale from France.
Pakistan already has a full fleet of American-made F-16.
