Matanzas, Cuba:- Massive and Deadly Lightning Strike Oil Storage in Matanzas, Cuba, causing huge fire amid the worsening energy crisis in Cuba, which is facing fuel shortage.

“We are closely following the confrontation with the fire in the industrial zone. We trust the authorities of the brave province, the brave firefighters, and the “CUPET” workers,” tweeted President Miguel Diaz-Canel.

Reportedly, 20 were initially in critical condition after the massive fire broke out in the state-owned Cuba Oil Union, and the reports further suggest that a death toll of 15 has so far been confirmed. Official statements are yet to be considered, as the hospital or the oil company has not issued any statement on the human losses.

With the Lightning Strike Oil Storage, charged the electrical discharge at the base of the oil tank, which stores a huge amount of fuel, caught fire, and fuel spillage into the sea was also seen.
