Nashik, Maharashtra:- Godavari River Floods have caused disastrous scenes in Nashik city after heavy rainfall in the city and in the suburbs of Ozar, Adgaon, and Mhasrul, that has flooded the tributary of Godavari, mainly Varuna.
The scenes in the mid-Nashik city are devastating, with water-filled roads, and reports have been confirmed of many Cars and Rickshaws being dragged into the waters.
Eyewitnesses of the incident under the bridge of Gadge Maharaj narrate how Cars and Rickshaws were floating in the water before they were pulled into the strong stream.
Another vehicle was seen stuck next to Gopaldas Samadhi Temple which reportedly had passengers inside, who were rescued before the water level rose to higher levels.
Locals and lifeguards can be seen in Nashik city helping people and coping with the effects of the Godavari River Floods, as the Nashik citizens are yet to receive any help from state authorities, as the state of Maharastra, after a political storm, is yet to receive the designated ministers who can look after the people of Maharashtra.
Currently, the Maharashtra government consists of only two people, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, from Shiv Sena and BJP respectively.
